Welcome Parents, Players, Coaches, and Volunteers to the Hopkins Area Little League Web site. Hopkins Area Little League (HALL) prides itself on teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, and baseball skills in a safe and enjoyable environment. We offer official Little League baseball at the beautiful Maetzold baseball facility, located in the heart of Hopkins, just 1 block north of Main Street. With nearly 400 boys and girls participating from 7 area schools, your children will probably see some old friends, meet new friends and enjoy developing their baseball skills with HALL. PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Join us on Saturday May 18 for our annual Pancake Breakfast – a favorite HALL tradition! 

Time: 8:30 a.m. - noon

Location: Maetzold Field Concessions Area

Cost: $5/person or $25/family (all proceeds to go HALL)

Menu: Pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee

PICTURE DAY

Picture Day will take place on Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th.  Please see schedule below for more details. 

We’ve partnered with Pine Tar Academy to offer FREE throwing and pitching clinics for players in our Minors C, B, A and Majors divisions. Each session will focus on player development by teaching proper throwing routines and mechanics, and developing pitching mechanics.  

Clinics will be held at Maetzold Field and broken into two age brackets during the following dates and times:

Clinic Dates

Sunday, May 5, 11, 19 and June 2

Clinic Times

5 - 6 p.m.: Minors B & C (8-9 year olds)

6 - 7 p.m.: Minors A & Majors (10-12 year olds)

A few notes: 

• These are optional clinics - attendance is not required. 
• Players can attend any number of clinics, but each session will cover the same mechanics.
• Space is limited and there is no wait list. Watch Dibs to see if any spots open up. 
• Clinics are free of charge and are only available to HALL players.
